Adam Beaudry
Adam Beaudry is a goalkeeper with Colorado Rapids Academy and was part of the US U-17 Men’s National Team that qualified for the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Gonzalo Segares was selected for the US youth team’s April training camp in South Florida – their inaugural camp since qualifying for tournament in February.
Early Life and Education
Adam Beaudry was raised in Steinbach, Manitoba and enjoyed playing soccer, curling, cross country skiing and reading specialty coffee books. Adam was an ardent father and husband; he leaves behind Anna his wife and Sophia his daughter for their memories to carry forward.
As a bassist, Paul Beaudry has collaborated on concerts and recordings with numerous jazz artists including Steve Turre, Wycliffe Gordon, Allan Harris, Dee Daniels, Charenee Wade and Winard Harper. Additionally he released two solo recordings Paul Beaudry & Pathways as well as New Tomorrows featuring guitar/bass duo with vocals/percussion/strings accompaniment.
Beaudry has long been active as an educator, providing master classes, clinics and workshops to students of all ages globally. He was featured as part of Jazz At Lincoln Center and U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs’ Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad program tours to Latin America, South Asia and Central Asia.
Professional Career
Adam Beaudry is an Academy U-17 teammate of Colorado Rapids FC. This April he was called up to join United States U-17 Men’s Youth National Team training camp in Florida as part of qualifying cycle for 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifying cycle. Beaudry boasts an excellent record with Colorado Rapids Academy U-17 side; maintaining three clean sheets over 15 starts during 2022-23 MLS NEXT season; also played for US in Concacacaf U-17 Championship this year and holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Nichols College along with being certified Public Accountant status.
Achievement and Honors
Beaudry was among 59 Duke juniors to receive the 2014 Truman Scholarship this year, which recognizes those with outstanding records of undergraduate research and academic achievement. Aside from academic pursuits, Beaudry plays goalkeeper for Colorado Rapids Academy team in Major League Soccer NEXT Pro and competed for United States U-17 Men’s Youth National Team competitions.
Beaudry will join Gonzalo Segares’ squad at its April training camp in South Florida – marking his first opportunity since USA qualified for 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup qualification.
He will also participate in the Vaclav Jezek Youth Tournament that runs September 16-26 in the Czech Republic, taking on Slovakia, Germany and host nation as members of Group A.
Personal Life
David Beaudry was born and raised in Steinbach, Manitoba. Attended Rochester Institute of Technology to study mechanical engineering technology. Additionally he competed in cross country and track.
He currently plays goalkeeper for the Colorado Rapids Academy U-17 team and has seen action in 15 MLS NEXT season games so far, keeping three clean sheets.
Beaudry is also an accomplished musician. Alongside Paul Rafferty on guitar, they’ve released the album New Tomorrows which includes jazz standards as well as original compositions by both members.
