Lacey Ellerman graduated from VU with an associate degree in Administrative Office Technology and was honored with the program’s Outstanding Graduate award. While at VU she worked three jobs while also participating on speech team and Campus Activities Board; completed internships at COPE Office and Good Samaritan Hospital; served as vice president of student body; and completed three internships during that time period.
Marriott was honored with the Underkofler Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award at Edgewood College and now teaches third grade at North Nodaway Elementary School in St Joseph as part of NWMO LASE special education group. Additionally, she holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northwest Missouri State University in education.
Former track and field athlete who competed during the 1980’s. She won both indoor and outdoor Metro Conference 400m championships twice while participating on two relay teams that set records.
