Thomas works as a management consultant – something she describes as similar to being a doctor for companies: She provides assessments, formulate concrete plans, and secure buy-in from key decision-makers. Now, Thomas hopes to use these same skills on behalf of DC statehood.

At Advanced Systems Group’s (ASG) Managed Services group, she oversees client relationships, service delivery and staffing on project-by-project basis. In addition, she runs Eleventh Social, a Facebook advertising agency which specializes in increasing ROI on social ads.

She has been actively engaged in her community. She founded and serves as president of Solano Student Chapter of ISPE, hosting exciting workshops and events. Additionally, she recruited numerous students into BioManufacturing school’s four-year bachelor degree program.

She is running for shadow senator in the District of Columbia in hopes to bring fresh strategic thinking and energy to efforts for statehood in DC. She already knows many of the existing activists working towards statehood in DC; should she win, she hopes to continue working alongside them if elected and bring expertise from tech startups, the Peace Corps, and management consulting into her efforts for statehood in DC.
