Benjamin Felton was born in Nicholson, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania to John Christian Felton and Sarah Elizabeth Felton (nee Bennett). He had four siblings. Benjamin attended the University of Minnesota to earn his undergraduate degree in history before going on to the Harvard Graduate School of Design for further study.
He has served in senior leadership roles at NIPSCO and Consumers Energy, overseeing generation, transmission, distribution, fleet and warehouse operations as well as championing their electric safety program.
He possesses extensive knowledge of the electric industry and its trends, serving as a frequent speaker on this subject. Furthermore, his work has garnered numerous awards and recognitions over his 20-year tenure in this field.
Professional Career
Ben Felton has been performing as a DJ at events, weddings and night clubs since he was in his teens. With an unparalleled style that never borders on cheeseiness and always gets people dancing on the dance floor – Ben has performed in events throughout the United States as well as more exotic locales such as Turks & Caicos.
Felton brings extensive energy industry experience and strong leadership to his role at Consumers Energy and NiSource (formerly NIPSCO). At NIPSCO, Felton oversaw electric operations and power delivery including generation, transmission, distribution fleet operations warehouse operations.
He serves as both mentor and coach to the law school’s Mock Trial Team, licensed both in Ohio and Indiana to practice Personal Injury law, and currently residing in Muncie, Ind.

Ben Felton has earned numerous accolades during his professional career. He is a member of the American Association for Blacks in Energy, has earned multiple executive leadership development certificates, and served on various community boards, such as Food Bank of South Central Michigan and CMS Energy Foundation.
He is an active member of both Rotary Club and Mosaic Masonic Lodge No. 194 F&AM of Ridgefield Park. Additionally, he belongs to York Rite Bodies of Freemasonry Orlando as well as National Association for Blacks in Energy.

Personal Life
Felton, who teaches eighth grade social studies, appears the more serious member of their duo; he’s the one behind their use of synths such as the Moog Grandmother and Arturia MiniBrute – adding additional layers to their foundation of improvised guitar playing – adding his unique influence through drone-influenced sounds from 70s German experimental rock like Harmonia and Cluster.
Harrison, who works in grant management at UNC-Chapel Hill, exudes all the qualities associated with Jerry Garcia – from his face and persona, down to the way his music wanders on wandering, laidback lines. It seems inspired by The Grateful Dead!
His and Felton first joined forces as members of Durham glam-punk band Jett Rink, leaving behind one EP and many memories of unforgettable shows. Since then they’ve also performed together in Chapel Hill sextet Shark Quest on bass.
