Early Life and Education
Benjamin Flam was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. After studying international relations at University of Rhode Island he went on to the Syracuse University College of Law where he earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree. Thereafter, he pursued law at Syracuse and graduated magna cum laude; thereafter was admitted to both Massachusetts and New York Bars, in addition to several federal courts; member of Massachusetts Fair Housing Coalition as well as speaking on employment and housing related topics at educational institutions; currently practices with Gordon Law Group LLP alongside Massachusetts Bar Association as well as American Trial Lawyers Association memberships;
Professional Career
Ben Flam is an renowned lawyer known for finding solutions to current legal challenges while positioning his clients to achieve optimal results. A member of Gordon Law Group LLP, Ben has extensive experience representing employers both domestically and internationally in employment matters ranging from state, federal and appellate courts.
Ben worked as the Reasonable Accommodation Coordinator at the Boston Housing Authority’s Office of Civil Rights, developing and administering reasonable accommodation policies while serving as Chief Civil Rights Investigator to investigate allegations of civil rights violations. Furthermore, as a certified mediator he chaired their mediation and diversity project while continuing to offer mediation services.
Ben has also developed a specialization in representing federal employees and contractors in matters pertaining to security clearance matters and other national security cases and concerns. Ben serves on both Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association Legislative Committee and MCAD/EEOC Committee, in addition to being an invited speaker on fair housing law and policy.
