Quigley has a bill pending before Congress that will ban the private ownership of big cats. The bill passed the House but was rejected by the Senate. Now, the House is set to vote on the legislation. Rep. Mike Quigley is the bill’s sponsor. He claims that this legislation will benefit communities and protect first responders. Although the bill is not yet passed, it is a step in right direction for big cats.
