Before Big Kenny’s Crank It Up Garage, he was a musician. His first solo album, “The Quiet Times of a Rock and Roll Farm Boy,” reached number one. 197 on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 34 on the Hot Country Songs charts. He’s also worked as a producer, co-founder of Love Everybody LLC, and released countless singles and content. His most recent project was the EP Electro Shine, which debuted at No. 71 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

In addition to a humongous number of projects, Big Kenny’s Crank It Up Garage features several vehicles that have inspired people in the past. Kenny Bailey’s first vehicle, the Short Cut High Bus, is a low-rider hot rod school bus that was custom-built by local car builder Jerry Bower. The bus has been featured at numerous car shows, including the Christmas Wonderland event at Creative Works Farm, as well as many other events.

McCallister began working on the family cattle farm in Virginia when he was 14. He was also a member of the church choir and learned to play the saxophone in middle school. He attended the Governor’s School For The Gifted, but decided to take a break from music when he was a senior. He then began to work on the family farm, managing everything from the milking parlor and a working farm.
