Blake Shelton – Came Here to Forget Studio Instrumental

Blake Shelton released “Came Here to Forget” a new song on March 8, 2016. The single comes from the If I’m Honest album. It was written by Craig Wiseman, Deric Ruttan, and is available on iTunes. Scott Hendricks produced it. Fans are now requesting more songs from the country star and he’s finally delivered. Check out the new single below!

The song was written by Deric Ruttan and Craig Wiseman, who met Shelton at Walgreens one day. Deric drafted the song’s title on his cell phone and waited for the right scenario to come along. Later, he joined Craig Wiseman for the song’s instrumental. Shelton’s fifth number-one hit on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart was this song.

Blake Shelton released his eighth studio album in 2013. He plans to tour in 2020. His tour kicked off earlier this year in Detroit, Michigan, and will continue through Detroit. The tour featured performances by Lauren Alaina and The Bellamy brothers, as well as Trace Adkins. The song’s chorus is what makes it stand out and should easily be on the Top 10 List.
