Boban Marjanovic

Boban is beloved among fans for many reasons. He’s funny, friendly and kind – qualities which help ensure everyone on his team feels at ease with each other.

He serves as both emergency big man and veteran presence off of the bench for Dallas Mavericks. His significance to team transcends basketball itself.

Achievement and Honors

Boban Marjanovic stands 2.24 meters, making him an intimidating presence on any basketball court. An NBA player, Boban has become known as an elite rebounder and shot blocker during his time in Europe and North America – including playing for Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets respectively.

He earned gold medals at both the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship and 2008 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship, before being named on a candidate list prior to both EuroBasket tournaments (2009 and 2010) but ultimately not made it onto one of the final 12-man squads.

Marjanovic has also dabbled in acting, appearing alongside Keanu Reeves as an assassin in John Wick 3 – Parabellum as well as appearing in 2021 series of Goldfish commercials and an advertising campaign for State Farm Insurance.
