Dancing With The Stars Bottom 2
Dancing With the Stars Bottom 2
On the final week of Dancing with the Stars, it’s time for all the celebrities to showcase their dance moves. Unfortunately, some stars must go home after an arduous journey – especially those two at the bottom who were eliminated last night.
On Monday’s episode, six couples performed a ballroom and Latin dance in an attempt to secure their place in next Monday’s semi-finals. Unfortunately, some seemed unprepared for such a demanding challenge.
Trevor Donovan and Emma Slater were the first couple voted off of the show after their combined scores from judges’ scores combined with viewer votes left them with the lowest total. This was their fourth time at the bottom and third time without receiving a judges’ save this season.
They managed to overcome some missteps in their dance, though there were still a few hiccups. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba praised them for their effort and said they “sounded much better than they looked.” Derek and Bruno both gave them nines; Bruno even gave it an emotional nine.
Heidi D’Amelio and Artem Chigvintsev had a difficult week, as they posted their lowest score of the season to date and also ended up in the bottom two. Despite improving upon both score and audience vote totals, it wasn’t enough to save them from elimination.
Vinny Guadagnino was the next to go home after failing to wow the judges with his dance. The Jersey Shore star abandoned his routine with Koko Iwasaki and attempted to capture their attention with different moves but ultimately fell short.
He made a few missteps during his dance, but it was an improvement from his last performance and he seemed more secure on the floor. Additionally, he showed off some new moves and refined his technique.
Unfortunately, his performance wasn’t quite up to par compared with recent weeks; also, it appeared that he wasn’t having as much fun as usual.
Another couple to leave was Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrong, who earned mixed reviews from the judges but still earned plenty of points. Although they were praised for their performance, it wasn’t long enough or had the impact it had previously.
Ultimately, the bottom two were determined based on their lowest judges’ scores and audience votes. But things got complicated at this point.
On the eliminations stage, host Tyra Banks made an unsettling mistake when she read Anne Keo and Monica Aldama’s names incorrectly. This mishap left viewers stunned and likely thinking a lot more about this incident in the future.
Daniel Durant and Britt Stewart, Shangela and Gleb Savchenko, and Wayne Brady will have to work hard to make it to the final three. But all of them possess the potential for success if they continue performing well and impressing the judges.
