Early Life and Education

Daniel is an award-winning pianist, composer, and interdisciplinary artist with diverse interests. He has given recitals at several prominent music venues including Fondation des Etats-Unis in Paris; DiMenna Center for Classical Music in Philadelphia; New Music on the Point Festival (NY); Nief-norf Summer Music Festival in Cleveland (OH); as well as various venues throughout the US. Daniel has collaborated with such musicians as Betsy Jolas of Beth Morrison Projects, Alan Pierson of Alarm Will Sound Band as well as JACK Quartet (to name but a few). Additionally he co-founded KnoxTrio as a piano-flute-cello trio dedicated to exploring experimental contemporary repertoire programs – making for captivating experiences between musical notes!

Daniel holds degrees in music from Williams College and Mannes College of Music in New York City, as well as studies at Universitat fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst Vienna Austria. Daniel has an interest in merging two-dimensional visual art with musical performance; creating experimental sound art pieces which have been shown at numerous exhibitions around the world.
