Daniel McGary serves as Executive Head Chef for Royal Lancaster London hotel and oversees all its restaurants such as LANG – a deli and patisserie; TING – a British restaurant with Asian influences; and GONG – the highest hotel bar in Western Europe.

Daniel is a Hebrew given name and surname that translates to “God Is My Judge,” taking its origins from the Book of Daniel and also used for other biblical figures. Daniel family has lived in America for over 200 years and are well known for their generous spirit in contributing to society.

McGarey-Vasey has taught at Salpointe Catholic High School for more than four decades, helping her students develop an understanding of Catholic ethics as an avenue for discernment when responding to God’s love. McGarey oversees three hotel services at Royal Lancaster London: LANG (24-hour in-room dining service); TING (a British restaurant with Asian influences); and GONG (Europe’s highest hotel bar). He employs 70 staffers.
