Daniel Mooney was an award-winning stage actor who appeared in over 200 productions. Mooney graduated with honors from Loyola University Maryland in 2018, before going on to earn his law degree at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law – both receiving their magna cum laude recognitions in 2021.

His son noted he was especially proud of Mooney’s American Sign Language performance in 1978 production “Children of a Lesser God,” as well as Lennie role in “Of Mice and Men”.
