Daniel Praznovsky Wants Smokey Ridge Estates Residents to Pay $120 a Month For Parking Spaces

Residents from Smokey Ridge Estates were infuriated Tuesday when they packed into a Columbus courtroom to hear their case against an investor who wants them to pay $120 monthly for parking spaces that should belong to all residents in common property. Daniel Praznovsky’s corporation, Novsky LLC, purchased 10 parcels containing parking spaces at an auction held by Ohio state in September and then sent lease agreements out for signature to residents to keep their vehicles on property.

Homeowners association had set aside space for use by residents, but it eventually fell into disuse. Now investors want $2.4 million – about $30k from each condo owner – from them in order to return it to HOA control.
