Daniele Bodini – Founder and Chairman Emeritus of American Continental Properties
Daniele Bodini is the founder and President of American Continental Properties Group. From 2005-2016 he represented San Marino at the UN, serving as its Permanent Representative from 2005. Additionally he serves on three boards of directors; The American-Italian Cancer Foundation; Foundation for Italian Art & Culture and San Patrignano USA.
He is married to Toni Allen Kramer, daughter of New York party fixture Terry Allen Kramer and granddaughter of Charles Allen from Allen & Company Inc investment bankers.
Early Life and Education
Born in Erba, Italy, Bodini holds degrees in architecture and engineering from Rome’s University. Additionally, he attended Columbia Business School in New York. Bodini serves on several nonprofit boards and foundations, such as American-Italian Cancer Foundation, Foundation for Italian Art & Culture and rehab center San Patrignano USA; additionally he belongs to Buffalo Bill Center of the West Council for United States Italy Relations as well as Allen & Company Inc board membership. He is also the founder of American Continental Properties and served as San Marino’s ambassador to the UN from 2005-2016, appearing in the Panama Papers but according to President Pasquale Valentini this was mere coincidental.
Bodini was the founder and chairman emeritus of American Continental Properties, a real estate investment company. From 2005 until 2016, he represented San Marino at the United Nations as its Ambassador.
Born and living most of his life in Italy, he has extensive knowledge about all things Italian. As the chairman of New York Friends of San Patrignano and trustee for Foundation for Italian Art and Culture he serves as an authority.
He is married to Toni Allen Kramer, daughter of theatrical producer Terry Allen Kramer and investment banker Irvin Hamilton Kramer. They have one daughter named Francesca who currently attends Stanford University’s business program; they reside in Sands Point, NY and own a helicopter which they use both professionally and recreationally.

Daniele Bodini served as Ambassador of San Marino to the UN from 2005-2016, when John Ashe died and bribery allegations surfaced against him. Since that time he has been actively engaged with New York charitable activities such as chairing American-Italian Cancer Foundation and Foundation for Italian Art and Culture; chairing San Patrignano USA, sitting on boards such as Buffalo Bill Center of the West Council for United States-Italy Relations as well as Palazzo Strozzi Foundation USA.
He can handle calls in English and Italian without ever raising his voice, making near instant decisions with little delay. Additionally, he excels at devising intricate financial arrangements to deal with inflation while marrying Toni Allen Kramer who is daughter of theatre producer Terry Allen Kramer and granddaughter of Charles Allen (scion of Manhattan banking fortune).
Bodini serves on the Board of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business as well as serving as Chairman for New York’s American-Italian Cancer Foundation, Foundation for Italian Art and Culture and San Patrignano USA rehab center.

On Monday, the helicopter that crashed into a Manhattan office building was owned by Bodini, owner of American Continental Properties real estate investment firm and former ambassador to San Marino – an Italian territory located off northern Italy from 2005 until 2016 – from 2005-2016.
