David Oehm

David Oehm serves as CEO for Life Is Beautiful, a three-day music and art festival held in Downtown Las Vegas. Prior to that role he served as COO for Snowglobe Music Festival held annually in Lake Tahoe, California; thus providing both business development and investment development experience in his current role at Life Is Beautiful.

Early Life and Education

David Oehm was around since the 1930s, experiencing many happy times during that time. Known for his generosity, he served on various boards and councils such as those for University of North Dakota Board of Directors and American Cancer Society Advisory Council – among many other notable roles – amassing more than $1 Million in charitable donations during his career to date. On top of all this generosity was his warm-hearted personality that personified old school ethics that set him apart from most.

Professional Career

David Oehm is an accomplished professional musician who has collaborated with various music groups including the Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Albany Symphony. Additionally, he has worked alongside conductors like JoAnn Falletta, Alain Trudel and Bertrand de Billy.

David Oehm made an impactful college hockey debut for University of Massachusetts before suffering a fibula injury which kept him off of the team for almost one year. Once back on junior hockey ice he made the switch to Bemidji State where he has made an immediate impression as part of their top line this season.

He was named an ITA All-American in singles this season after winning Regionals and going 2-1 in the ITA Cup. A fierce competitor who enjoys his sport and strives to do his best each time he steps onto the ice, he is committed to playing well every time.

Personal Life

David Oehm is an influential member of California’s business community. As COO for Snowglobe Music Festival and leader for investment development at Live in Downtown Las Vegas, he enjoys hunting and golfing during his spare time.

Oehm was born January 30th 1955 to Everett and Delsie (Black) Oehm of Marysville. He is survived by his daughter Katie Oehm of Marysville; step-daughter Alina Jo of Marysville; brothers, Charlie (Ruth), Paul (Cathy), Larry Oehm of Clovis New Mexico, Edwund Oehm of Lincoln Nebraska as well as Margery Richmond from Topeka Kansas as well as grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday April 15th 2011 from Johnson Funeral Home Chapel Locust Grove beginning at 11:00am he will concludes.
