David Parkerson is a renowned actor best known for his roles on Come Early Morning (2006) and Home Education (2007).

He lives in New Albany, IN and is a graduate of Southern High School and Cincinnati Christian College. Aside from being an accomplished hunter, his favorite bands include Coldplay, Delirious and Mutemath.

Early Life and Education

David “Super Dave” Bryan Parkerson, age 27, was an expert technologist who excelled in getting things done. As a district sales representative for Southeastern Metal Company in Florida and Tennessee, his infectious enthusiasm and high standards of professionalism earned him widespread respect.

He was an ardent family man, dedicated to his wife Michelle and children Rowan and Quinn. In his free time he enjoyed watching movies, playing golf and cheering on the UK and Dallas Cowboys. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Watertown Lions Club. Additionally, students in need can apply for the David Parkerson Memorial Scholarship which helps deserving students achieve their educational aspirations.

Professional Career

David Parkerson is a lawyer who specializes in commercial litigation with an emphasis on trial work. He has tried numerous high-dollar and complex cases throughout both state and federal court systems.

David Parkerson is the Managing Partner of his own firm, David Parkerson & Associates in New Orleans. His practice encompasses all areas of commercial law with an emphasis on surety law, fidelity law and construction law.

He has represented clients in a variety of high-dollar cases across America, such as Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and California.

Parkerson has also dedicated himself to fitness for older adults, becoming a co-founder of OhioHealth Delay the DiseaseTM Certified, an exercise program tailored specifically towards people living with Parkinson’s disease. Through this endeavor, he has helped thousands improve their quality of life through physical activity.

Achievement and Honors

David Parkerson is the founder of Homeschool Learning Academy (HLA), a faith-based homeschool program that has spread worldwide.

David was a tireless champion for his community, serving as Chair of the New Orleans Pro Bono Project after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. He spearheaded efforts to rehabilitate 100 homes in Treme neighborhood of New Orleans.

On April 17, the Holmes Ridgeland Campus celebrated its students’ accomplishments and honors during the 2018 Honors Day event. Dr. Amy Whittington, District Director of Career-Technical Education, opened the evening with a welcoming address before Dr. Don Burnham – Holmes Vice President of Academic Affairs – delivered an invocation.

Personal Life

David Parkerson is an acclaimed television presenter, journalist and author. He has conducted thousands of interviews with people worldwide and earned himself a place of honor within Parkinson’s disease research circles.

He is also a certified fitness trainer and has designed exercise programs specifically for people with Parkinson’s. Through his work, thousands have seen improvements in their quality of life through exercise.

His favorite music bands include Coldplay, Delirious, Mutemath and The Shins. Additionally, he enjoys watching television shows such as House, Mythbusters, Miami Ink, Prison Break and Flip This House.

On April 25, 2022, Parkerson was tragically taken from us in Beaumont, Texas by Leonard. Leonard surrendered to police on Wednesday night and was taken into custody for the murder warrant.
