David Salmon is a TV personality, animal trainer and large-predator expert. He has appeared on various shows such as Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and National Geographic.

Dave Salmoni has always had an affinity for animals since childhood. He enjoyed exploring the forest and developing an affinity for wild cats in particular.

However, it wasn’t until he was 23 that he considered becoming an animal trainer. Rewilding two zoo-bred Bengal Tigers inspired him to pursue a career in tiger management – leading him down the path towards becoming an expert on these majestic cats.

He earned his undergraduate degree from UWI Mona and is now studying for his master’s in development studies at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, he plans to pursue a doctorate in law from Oxford.
