Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert Are Engaged!

Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert first met on DWTS in 2015. The couple met as dancers on the show and fell in love. In 2015, they got engaged. Erbert was so happy that she couldn’t recall any of the words they spoke, but she can remember crying and hugging Hough. The couple’s secretive desire to marry is evident, but she had no idea Hough would propose to her.

Erbert, originally from Wisconsin, moved to Los Angeles where she worked as a professional dancer for Pitbull, Julianne Hough and Paula Abdul. Erbert competed against Hough as well as other contestants on the “Dancing with the Stars” live tour. In addition to being a celebrity partner, Erbert has appeared on several TV shows and on various reality shows.

They met at a 2014 dance show, Erbert being a troop dancer. They became a couple in the following year. Erbert joined Derek Hough’s DWTS cast for 2016. They reconnected in 2017 as DWTS contestants. The couple had been dating for a few months before Derek announced the engagement. At first, Derek and Hayley kept their relationship secret. But, after many years of dating, Hough decided that he wanted Erbert to marry him.

The couple first met in season 4 of Dancing With the Stars. After dating for a while, the couple reconnected on the set of Dancing with the Stars. They met at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Monaco, and the premiere of Top Gun Maverick in Cannes. The couple is currently planning their wedding. It’s an exciting time both for Hayley and Derek!

After being together for more than a year, they made their relationship official via Instagram in 2017. Their Instagram accounts show that they’re still very much in love and plan to tie the knot in the near future. The couple shares four rescue dogs and live in Los Angeles. COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted in September 2021. During one of their performances at the Venetian, Derek joked that they’d marry in Las Vegas.

The couple celebrated their relationship with romance after Derek proposed to Hayley. They spent a day in Yosemite together and even took a helicopter ride. They also decorated their home with hundreds of candles and lit the room. The couple’s engagement is a significant step towards a life together.
