Destiny Thomas is currently serving as a graduate assistant women’s basketball coach at Tulane University. Prior to that she played four seasons for Clemson Tigers basketball program and assisted them in making appearances in both the NCAA Tournament in 2018-19 and WNIT tournaments during that timeframe.

Thrivance Group was established by an Oakland anthropologist-planner. Their company offers harmful planning solutions such as Dignity-Infused Community Engagement methodology implementation and anti displacement studies as well as healing environmental and infrastructural trauma healing services, with its primary goal to help marginalized communities attain equal access to safe neighborhoods with beautiful spaces.

Early Life and Education

Destiny Reachell Thomas graduated from Jasper High School and Vista College with honors. A dedicated member of her church, Destiny was deeply beloved by her family, especially daughter Kallie; stepdaughter Markeith Cauley; brother Kenneth Davis, grandmother Annie Beaty as well as numerous aunts, uncles and other relatives. She leaves a daughter Kallie; stepdaughter Markeith Cauley, as well as numerous aunts uncles and other relations to mourn her loss.

She became friends with Austin, Tamika, and Moritz during middle school and they often hang out. Johanna also got along well with her. She’s protective over all three friends and keeps an eye out whenever possible.

Destiny is known for her kindness and generosity despite her large frame, always willing to lend a helping hand when necessary. Austin can sometimes get annoyed at how overprotective Destiny can be; and she takes offense when people refer to her as a whale.

Professional Career

Thomas was forced to battle injuries throughout his career. Yet, despite these ailments, he continued producing offensively and was instrumental in leading the White Sox to their 2005 World Series win.

As a freshman, she started 18 of 33 games played and averaged 4.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per contest, ranking second among conference rookies for rebounding average.

Beazley currently employs her as a multiline underwriter, offering Misc E&O, Tech E&O and D&O coverages to small private entities. In her free time she enjoys reading and baking.

Cullen Dinneen, lead fifth grade and art teacher at Destiny School of the Arts. She is passionate about developing children’s natural curiosity and creativity and believes that music, visual art and other creative outlets allow children to appreciate life holistically.

Achievement and Honors

Destiny Thomas has an immense capacity for helping others; as evidenced by her tendency to assist those around her whenever possible. Unfortunately, this has earned her the title “Whale Engine”, much to her displeasure.

Over the years, she has held various jobs including serving as an Assistant Coach of Summer Weight Room Workouts at Ranchview High School as a volunteer and working as a Sales Associate at Champs Sports.

Destiny was honored on November 10, 2022 during the Collinsville Community Collaboration’s (C3) Annual C3 Awards dinner at Gateway Center. This event honored individuals who make an impactful difference in their community; she was also named to the 2022 All-AAC Freshman team after leading Collinsville High School to win their state championship that year.

Personal Life

Destiny has an expansive heart, always willing to lend her support in times of trouble for friends. However, she can be sensitive when people refer to her as a whale.

She has become close with Austin and Tamika; as well as Johanna over time. Additionally, Moritz had turned to her for help during their battle against The Dark Signers.

At Jacksonville State, she serves as an assistant coach, helping with recruiting, player development and opponent scouting. Additionally, she facilitates youth basketball camps at her alma mater; being originally from Dayton Ohio she now resides.

Net Worth

Thomas has signed endorsement deals with various major companies such as LivPur Nutrition, Whoop, Netjets Footjoy Beats Electronics Titleist Scotty Cameron Lineage Logistics as well as having his own luxurious home in Jupiter Florida and playing for National Basketball Association team Los Angeles Clippers in National Basketball Association (NBA).

Destiny Thomas will begin her first season as an assistant coach at Jacksonville State in 2023-24. She comes to Jacksonville State from Anderson University where she coordinated recruitment efforts and provided on-floor coaching/development/opponent scouting reports for a Division II program, playing an integral role in Diamond McDowell’s Second Team All-SAC performance as well as SAC Freshman Team selection Ashlyn Sheridan’s development.
