Donervon Daniels is one of two suspects charged in connection with the June 6 shooting of a pizza delivery driver in Philadelphia’s southwest section. At 17, Daniels stands accused of robbery, kidnapping, criminal conspiracy and various offenses.

Webster Groves man is accused of beating his girlfriend and strangling her before abusing their puppy by strangling, punching and slamming it to the floor – incidents captured on video footage.

Early Life and Education

Donovan Daniels was raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. At Coronado High School he played defensive line and fullback as an underclassmen before earning three-year letter status and All-Metro selection as a senior. Unfortunately in 2016, Daniels was arrested on allegations of domestic assault and animal abuse by torture at their Webster Groves home, when police believe he pushed his girlfriend onto the floor before strangulating her, uppercutting her, and repeatedly slamming her head on to the floor at their Webster Groves home causing extensive damages to both parties involved.

Donovan suffers from biliary atresia and underwent his transplant at CHLA last November – marking the 300th pediatric liver transplant performed there and USC by Drs Thomas Hand, Hepatologist, and Yuri Genyk, Professor of Clinical Surgery. Donovan’s father Dejon provided part of his liver so Donovan could receive it successfully.

Professional Career

Donovan was an acclaimed corporate attorney who was active in veterans affairs and Republican politics, amassing an extensive clientele list while becoming president of the New York State Committee on Civil Rights – a position which demanded frequent travel.

Hollywood first featured Donovan during World War II mobilization by featuring him in Warner Bros.’s 1940 film, The Fighting 69th (featuring James Cagney and Pat O’Brien as Donovan’s regimental chaplain Father Duffy. (See Troy, Donovan & the CIA page 77 for further reference.)

Physicians from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai frequently collaborate with pharmaceutical, device and biotechnology companies in order to enhance patient care, develop novel therapies and achieve scientific breakthroughs. Any relationships formed are disclosed to both patients and their families while faculty members must disclose any financial ties with such firms.

Achievement and Honors

Donovan believes long-distance running can be used as an avenue for personal and professional success in all facets of life, and has guided numerous Puget Sound distance runners to several state titles and two runner-up team finishes.

She has completed extensive training in Understanding by Design Curriculum Design, Restorative Justice and Practices, Equity Training, CRISS Strategies and Great Books Questioning Techniques. In addition, she served as New Teacher Program Facilitator and Professional Development Coordinator.

Donovan chose to renovate Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm’s Nature Trail as his Eagle Scout project, clearing away debris, making new numbered identification signs with information booklets, adding wood benches along the trail and more – this project earned him an Eagle Scout Award!

Personal Life

Donervon Daniels currently plays as a center-back for Walsall FC after previously representing Blackpool, Rochdale and Luton Town as a centre-back. Additionally, Daniels had loan stints with Tranmere Rovers, Gillingham and Blackpool FC.

In 2022, he joined Crewe Alexandra on a two-year contract after leaving Luton Town. His debut with them came against Newcastle United Under-21 team at Gresty Road for EFL Trophy matchup.

Donovan suffers from biliary atresia, an uncommon liver disorder. His transplant was the 300th pediatric liver transplant successfully conducted at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and Keck Medicine of USC in November; Donovan was lucky enough to receive part of Dejon’s liver as a gift, giving him hope of living long and healthy lives thanks to this generous act. Additionally, Donovan is now an integral member of Montserrat national football team.

Net Worth

His net worth is estimated to be $5 Million, accumulated through his career as a professional association footballer.

He is also an established business executive, having worked with some top companies and known for his efforts in the realm of e-commerce.

In 2012-13 season, he joined Tranmere Rovers on loan and made his first debut on 22 November 2012. Two months later he scored his maiden goal against Stevenage.

Under his youth loan arrangement with Blackpool, he played his last match for them on 26 December 2014. Subsequently he signed for Luton Town but remains extremely private about his personal life and has not disclosed much regarding relationships or what might be next in terms of romance.
