Every Time I Die
Every Time I Die
Every Time I Die is a Buffalo-based metalcore band. The band was formed in 1998 and consists of brothers Keith and Jordan Buckley, rhythm guitarist Andy Williams, and bassist Stephen Micciche. The band’s sound is distinguished by its heavy riffs, catchy choruses, and catchy lyrics.
The band’s music is rooted in technical hardcore, but has elements of southern metal and mathcore. The band performed on the main stage at the Warped Tour in the summer 2006. They continued to tour through November 2006 and released Shit Happens, a concert film. The band collaborated with producer Steve Evetts in 2007 to produce The Big Dirty. This helped secure a deal for Epitaph Records.
After losing four members, the band is currently on hiatus. They announced earlier this year that they would be taking a short break. The band has yet to reunite, but they will play a hometown Christmas show. You should check out the music catalog of Every Time I Die if you haven’t been to one.
The band released their seventh studio album, “Ex Lives”, in spring 2014. The band worked with producer Kurt Ballou to complete the album. After its release, the album reached #22 on Billboard 200. In September 2014, the band played the Vans Warped Tour, which was the 20th edition of the tour. The band also began a Canadian tour with Expire. The band was also co-headlining the winter tour with The Ghost Inside.
