George Ashcraft was born on April 2, 1934 in Beardstown, Illinois and passed away on April 21st 2019 in Canton, Oklahoma.
He was the son of James Richard and Anna Schall Ashcraft, whom he wed on November 9, 1957.
He is survived by his wife, Hugh, and daughter-in-law Carol Waite.
His siblings include Evelyn McCallops, Mary Greenwood, and Irene Astafan.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Beardstown, the Moose Lodge of Beardstown and Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 137. Additionally, he enjoyed golfing and horseback riding. Above all else, he will be deeply missed by his many friends; buried in Beardstown Cemetery by Cole & Maud Mortuary (410 W. Roosevelt Ave).
