Early Life and Education

Henry was born and raised between Paris, London, Zurich and the Philippines. He began his elementary education at Sainte Ursule – Louise de Bettignies before finishing high school at Southbank International.

He worked at his father’s school and became involved with politics. His interests included taking a scientific approach to history as well as medieval philosophy and architecture.

Flexner was hired by The Carnegie Foundation to evaluate and survey American medical schools. With extraordinary industry and energy he accomplished this task. Traveling extensively around the country he wrote reports on schools focused on admission standards, physical facilities, instruction from physician scientists, institutional philosophies and standards of excellence within American medical schools. His efforts contributed directly towards shaping their philosophies and standards of excellence today.

Professional Career

Henry Flex is an accomplished stage actor who has earned three Tony-nominated shows: The Scottsboro Boys, Violet and Carousel. Additionally, as an accomplished singer he has appeared in first US tour of Hamilton; rocked out Broadway production of American Idiot; and sang across the nation in televised production of Beauty and the Beast.

Henry Flex is not only a professional bodybuilder but an active military service member as well. In 2022 he participated in the Air Force deployment to Afghanistan as an intelligence specialist.

Personal Life

Henry works at Junk N’ Stuff with Ray, Jasper, Charlotte Page, Piper Hart, and mechanic Schwoz – making some new friends along the way! Henry attempts to help residents in Swellview fight crime but often ends up frustrated; being very observant but often overcritical; frequently repeating himself; all this can become annoying at times.

He enjoys practicing karate on Thursdays from 3:30 pm. His belly button protrudes, and celery destroys tuna salad for him. Normally waking at 7:00 am but prefers sleeping late on Saturdays.

He is a fan of The Hawkins and right-handed. An avid flier, he has an iconic flying wing tattoo in honor of Kalel Hamilton who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy as a childhood friend.
