Early Life and Education
Jack Seiple was born in Boulder, Colorado on 7/5/1900 as one of two children, alongside younger sister Anna. After attending Muhlenberg College and earning his undergraduate degree in economics – which later led him to obtain a master of business administration degree at Villanova University – Jack decided he wanted a higher level education so decided to earn both master degrees concurrently.
He worked at Johnson & Johnson as a senior scientist in chemistry. His duties involved research and development of lifesaving medications for oncology, immunology, and COVID-19 vaccine development.
Jack Seiple has lived in various states including Pennsylvania and Florida. Achievement and Honors
As a student, Jack excelled on both cross country and track teams at his school; he earned top distance runner status as a senior. Each fall and spring grading period, Jack made the Dean’s List; additionally he competed as goalkeeper on both seasons of varsity soccer teams.
As a senior scientist for Johnson & Johnson, he worked on cutting-edge technologies that were integral in developing lifesaving and life-altering medicines for oncology and immunology. He was passionate about both his work and those with whom he collaborated within the lab environment.
Mary Breneman-Turner of Moorhead, Minnesota survives him along with four children (Dax Seiple of Walker, Danika Seiple of St Paul and Devyn Seiple from Northfield); ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was a deeply committed husband and father who enjoyed spending time with his family. In his free time, he took great pleasure in camping and boating (holding a Master Captain’s license), camping trips and renovating his 32-foot Hatteras yacht.
He earned his Bachelor of Chemistry at Rochester Institute of Technology before working at Johnson and Johnson as a research scientist, working on cutting-edge technologies that contributed to lifesaving and life-altering medicines for oncology and immunology patients.
