Audrey Cheves, a Gainesville High School Legend, Has Passed Away

A Gainesville teen was a high school legend before she hit the roads. Audrey Cheves was a self-proclaimed “pure soul” who made her mark in the world of high school color guard and band. She was a well-liked member of her community who excelled in the classroom and on the soccer field.

She was a dedicated philanthropist who made it her mission to help those less fortunate than herself. She also had a knack for finding and sharing information that could help others.

Her legacy lives on in the form of a memorial garden at her alma mater, Gainesville High School. She was a talented artist and a fine young lady who will be missed.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends as they navigate this difficult time in their life. You can also show your support by making a donation to a worthy cause in Audrey’s name.
