He is representing undercover NYPD Detective Wojciech Braszczok, who was arrested during a biker-SUV melee in September 2013. On Monday, his attorney asserted that video evidence which prosecutors claim incriminates him would exonerate his client.

Notable accomplishments include his contributions to the Pennsylvania Bar Foundation’s COVID-19 taskforce and steady leadership on their Development Committee. Personal Life
John Arlia is a proud husband and father to 4 sons, as well as having two grandchildren. He resides in Castro Valley, California.
John is a sports journalist with experience in journalism and media. He’s worked as the National Writer for both United Soccer League and Sporting News Canada, attending both men’s World Cups recently in Brazil and Russia; now, John can’t wait for 2026 to arrive in North America!
Braszczok, who appeared with a long beard and wearing a hooded sweatshirt, was charged with assault and criminal mischief. Additionally, he was accused of failing to protect Lien – the married father of a toddler who was in the car at the time – by not informing his colleagues that he saw an assault, according to Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass.
