John Dinius has served as General Manager of Sycuan Casino since 2014 and has extensive experience in gaming. He began as a pull tabs clerk at their bingo parlor before working his way up through the ranks.
Dinius’ Statement of Claim will be considered by the court to determine if Youngblood had a valid claim. He specifically alleges that Lake County and Ostini failed to preserve exculpatory evidence proving Perdock was underage at the time of the accident.
Early Life and Education
John Dinius was raised in Redding, attending Redding Christian School and Simpson University before opening the dental practice of his dreams. Married to Carmen for 37 years, John has been the proud papa of four kids while spending a lot of time at their family trailer park throwing parties and connecting with people. Today his practice still runs strong with help from lawyers and techies; having such an esteemed name in dentistry is truly an honor, not to mention all the fun times shared amongst extended relatives in this multi-generational family unit!
Professional Career
Dinius began his career at Sycuan Casino in San Diego as a bingo pull tabs clerk and worked his way up through the gaming ladder from slots attendant to shift manager to operations director and finally general manager. Appointed interim general manager in 2014, Dinius was promoted to top job earlier this year.
Dinius also serves as CEO of Table Mountain Casino Resort in Fresno, which he helped open last year. According to media reports, the casino opened with much acclaim and Dinius anticipates it will bring the region’s tribal casino scene to new heights.

Dinius has earned himself the crown of honoree at Sycuan Casino and a place in the hall of fame at local brewfest. A proud member of Kumeyaay Nation, he has been part of the Sycuan family for over 25 years – including managing in its early days. When not working his day job, dinius dedicates time to his family while being an alumnus of Sycuan Academy of Music & Arts; an award winning enthusiast with an appreciation for both classic and modern music alike.
Personal Life
John Dinius and Carmen have been married since April 12, 1975. Together, they have four children: Angie, Landon, Jordon and Jarret.
John testified that at the start of their marriage, he wasn’t involved with caring and raising of their children; however, as they grew older, John began taking responsibility for grocery shopping, bathing them, attending occasional school conferences and discipline.
At trial, there was conflicting testimony from both parties as to John’s role in the lives of his children. The Diniuses lived 11 miles from Center in a home where John worked as a shift worker.
At the time of his divorce proceedings, John had a history of depression and suicidal thoughts. He was hospitalized for 72 hours before being released on medication.
