John Hallock is a senior strategist and communications executive with two decades of experience designing and executing global communication programs. He is recognized for his expertise in successfully integrating and managing all functions of public relations, media relations, social media, executive communications, change management, investor relations, government affairs, community affairs, analyst relations and internal communications.

Early Life and Education

John Hallock was born in Oxford, Orange County, New York, in July 1783. He was a farmer and a member of the New York State assembly from 1816-1821, a delegate to the New York state constitutional convention in 1821, and a United States representative from 1825-1829.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics summa cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a master’s and a doctorate in economics from Princeton. He also served as a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.

After receiving his undergraduate degree, Hallock entered the US Navy, where he served as a communications officer on the USS Rushmore (LSD-14). After serving in the military, Hallock returned to the Highlands and established his own architecture firm. He later became a faculty member in Penn State’s Architecture Department.

He brings an extensive background in media relations and investor relations to his new role as CCO at Quantum Health, where he will lead the corporate communications function.
