Kyle Richards, Actress and Fashion Designer
Aside from being a good looking wife and mother of four, Kyle Richards has amassed an impressive oeuvre as an actor and a businesswoman. She’s had several roles in films such as Halloween and The Car. She’s also launched a fashion line, the most recent of which was featured at New York Fashion Week. As a matter of fact, she’s the star of the show on Monday night’s episode of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Kyle’s other venture, a clothing line titled Kyle + Shahida, is a bit more mainstream. Although it’s not the most expensive fashion line around, it’s still worth the price tag. Some of the pieces are a nod to the ’70s, but the ’90s ain’t over yet. It’s a well rounded collection of sexy and smart clothes. There’s also the fun factor to be had. In fact, it was the only fashion show at NYFW that saw more than one celebrity walk the red carpet.
Kyle’s real-world achievements include a handful of awards, including the best actress award for her role as Julia in “Police Woman.” Her performance on the small screen has earned her the title of the queen of the small screen. However, her acting career began in the 70s, and she’s made guest appearances on a number of television shows and movies. For instance, she and Kim Richards appeared in the 1977 thriller The Car. Also, she co-starred in 18 episodes of Little House on the Prairie. To top it off, she’s been a socialite for most of her adult life.
While she might be most known for her role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, she’s also a singer and an actress. She’s got a few songs under her belt and she even scored a spot on the Country’s best new country stars list. One of her most recent hits is a tune she co-wrote with Kacey Musgraves titled “Red Dirt Road.” You might also be familiar with her for her judging stint on the hit series “RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars.” Regardless, she’s always been a savvy businesswoman, starting her own boutiques and a clothing line. On a side note, her hair is actually easy to style.
Other notable moments in her career include her role as a socialite, which entails attending events like the Coachella music festival. If you can’t make it to Coachella, you might have a chance to see her perform onstage. That being said, if you’re a fan of country music, you might want to consider heading to Nashville, because you just might see her in concert.
