Kyre Thomas is a Freshman at Coastal Carolina High School

An 11-year-old Detroit student was hospitalized after she was hit in the head with a metal hockey stick thrown by a substitute gym teacher from Detroit and is suing all parties involved, including teacher, school, staffing agency.

Kyra Thomas of Coppin State University earned internship offers from four of the country’s premier accounting firms – KPMG being her choice.

Professional Career

Kyre Thomas hails from Australia with Danish ancestry. She studied in New York for four years and worked as both project manager and architectural designer before making a transition into sports – she currently plays tennis at Coastal Carolina.

She was also part of the cheer team and has an intense passion for music; performing with both groups in the past, as well as hoping to do so again in the future.

In 2021, she signed with the Houston Rockets of the NBA. Since then she has appeared in five games for them averaging 16.4 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks per 30.6 minutes of game action – an outstanding performance for a six-foot three shooting guard!

Personal Life

Kyra Thomas is an incredible freshman with big ambitions for her high school career. Her goals include joining the National Honor Society and maintaining at least 4.0 GPA while also pursuing tennis – her dedication and drive are evident from both arenas of endeavor.

Thomas is an innovative problem solver surrounded by creative thinkers. Together they are developing the InfoBytes app which will allow people to input dietary restrictions before scanning products to see if they are safe to eat.

Other than coding, she enjoys reading and listening to music – particularly classical, Celtic and alternative rock genres like Crossfade, Chevelle, Three Days Grace Coheed & Cambria Aerosmith and The Exies bands.
