He serves as a member of Hawaii State Bar Association’s Family Law Section and as both West Hawaii and Oahu Young Leader Delegate Delegate Delegate for Young Leader Development respectively; in 2016 he also earned an HSBA Leadership Institute Fellow fellowship award.

He serves on the Board of Directors for Sustainable Coastlines Hawaii, an organization which inspires communities to care for their coastlines through beach cleanup events. When not volunteering or serving on boards, he enjoys practicing muay thai and being outdoors as often as possible.
