Yakov Smirnoff’s comedy show is known for providing audiences with an evening of uproarious belly laughs. His humor focuses on the cultural differences between America and Ukraine – his original homeland – where he hails from.

On July 4, 1986 he became an American citizen. Since then he has married twice and fathered two children: Natasha and Alexander. Currently residing in Branson Missouri

Professional Career

Olivia Smirnoff has established herself in both modeling and acting, earning recognition within the entertainment industry for her performances. She has made multiple film and television show appearances as well as her own project; as her father is immensely proud of his daughter. Smirnoff first married Limnda Dreeszen in 1989 and they had two children Natasha and Alexander before divorcing and marrying Kosarieva for the second time in 2009.

Yakov Smirnoff of Branson, Missouri will take to the road this month in an effort to raise money for Ukraine and help alleviate its war-ravaged conditions. On March 19, he and wife Olivia will perform at Second Baptist Church in Springfield in support of Convoy of Hope – an organization providing aid and supplies directly to Ukrainians in need. Donations made at his show will go toward Convoy of Hope’s efforts in Ukraine.

Yakov Smirnoff has long made people laugh with his hilarious comedy act at Branson comedy club Second Baptist Church, but now he’s taking on an entirely different mission: raising funds for Ukraine as its conflict escalates. Smirnoff and Olivia are using their platform to assist those in need by donating proceeds from Saturday’s comedy show at Second Baptist Church to Convoy of Hope; an organization aiding and providing supplies to those affected by war in Ukraine. Smirnoff immigrated from Russia as a child before marrying Linda Dreeszen in 1989 before later marrying Olivia in 2019 – becoming proud grandfather!
