Thomas Stuckey has served on the Northwest Mennonite Shalom Board since 2010. Additionally, he serves as leader for Defiance 2010 Economic Development Team as well as being chair of his congregation’s Stewardship Ministry.

Tom manages our Axminster office and services an array of clients from sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. He prides himself on hardworking, meticulous accounting with an approachable personality.

Early Life and Education

Thomas Stuckey was born in Prattsville, Arkansas to Luther Thomas and Nona Stuckey and survived by his wife Christy Ohlhauser; children; grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Since October 2015, he has served as associate judge of the Centex Child Protection Court South, providing services in Guadalupe, Caldwell, Gonzales, Lavaca, and Colorado counties.

Stuckey was president of Northwest Community College in Archbold, Ohio from 1998 to 2005 and active on local school boards and the Shalom board in his region. He received his Ph.D. in College Administration from Goshen College; master’s degrees from Bluffton (Ohio) University; and studied Strategic Perspectives of Nonprofit Management with Harvard Business School. Stuckey currently resides with his wife in West Unity Ohio; they attend Zion Mennonite Church where he chairs their Stewardship Ministry Ministry team team.

Professional Career

Thomas Stuckey has had an illustrious and productive career in aviation. His tenure includes positions at several airlines such as United and American, and flying instructor roles at numerous schools.

As vice president of business and corporate aviation solutions at Jda Aviation Technology Solutions in Maryland, he currently holds the position of Vice President. Prior to that he served as Manager at FAA Southwest Region as well as Director at Flight Standards Service at FAA headquarters.

He is survived by his wife, Darby Lynn Stuckey; children Brittney Ledbetter and Ritchie Thomas Stuckey Jr; siblings Scott Stuckey, Richard Stuckey, Shervette Jones and Janice Parker (Luther); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will miss him terribly. To honor his memory online memory collectors have begun gathering special keepsake photos to create a lasting tribute – which will then be shared among family, friends and loved ones who miss him terribly.

Achievement and Honors

Stuckey is an expert in wine business and holds the esteemed Master Sommelier diploma from the Court of Master Sommeliers. A popular figure at Frasca dining room, Stuckey can often be found advising guests with recommendations and providing expert advice.

He is also the creator of The Great American Wine Fest, an event which has raised over $7 Million for local charities in five years. Additionally, he serves on the boards of directors for University of Georgia libraries and as trustee for Warnell School of Forest Resources.

Stuckey has long been recognized for his commitment to improving his community. Currently serving as Franklin’s city administrator with nearly 800 employees under him, as well as serving as assistant county administrator in Hamilton County Ohio and assistant city manager/budget director in Elgin Illinois he has earned numerous accolades and honors during his career.

Personal Life

Thomas Stuckey is an active participant in his local community, serving on multiple professional organizations and acting as both board member and president for Millcreek-West Unity School Board in Ohio. Additionally, he serves on Zion Mennonite Church’s stewardship ministry team in Archbold.

He is married to Darby Lynn and has three children: Brittney Ledbetter, Ritchie Stuckey Jr, and Michael Adams as well as an affectionate dog named Rosebud. In addition to contributing articles to numerous publications and producing peer-reviewed manuscripts – he enjoys frequent contributions for various media.

Personal Interests in GolfING. In his personal life, he enjoys traveling and golfing. In addition to this passion he is an ardent husband and father who treasures spending time with family. Furthermore, he is compassionate towards others, seeking ways he can assist.
