Trevor Adams was an extraordinary musician. He studied violin, piano and viola. Versatile athlete who played both offense and defense for Alabama. Also, returned kickoffs and punts while earning special teams Player of Week accolades against Chattanooga and Florida State. Caught 11 passes this season for 88 yards with three touchdown receptions to average an 8.0 average per reception average. He broke one pass from his corner position while in secondary play while earning special teams Player of Week recognition from his coaching staff for their games against Chattanooga and Florida State.

Adams, 25, took to the witness stand Thursday wearing bespectacled eyeglasses and wearing a gray suit jacket, listening quietly as his lawyer and prosecutors presented evidence in this case. Assistant state prosecutor Melissa Grajales pointed out during closing arguments that Adams’ account didn’t match where the bullets fired at Albury and Thompson had come from based on trajectory measurements taken during shootings in studios where Adams claimed they stood during an incident on May 29.

He holds several awards and distinctions, such as the Legion of Merit, Air Medal, and Distinguished Service Medal. Additionally, he served as an instructor pilot, staff officer and commander within the US Air Force; additionally taking courses at military universities like Wharton and the New Memphis Institute.

Personal Life

Assistant State Attorney Melissa Grajales asked Adams in closing arguments on Friday where he stood when shooting Albury twice in the back of her head and Thompson twice in her face with two bullets fired from a handgun. Grajales pointed out that Adams’ account did not match up with how the bullets struck.

Carolyn Boyd, Trevon Boyd’s mother, testified that after his death she felt as if a part of herself was missing and continued to cry at night.

Deputies allege that a witness saw Trevon Adams open the driver’s door of the victim’s vehicle and pull him out before leaving in his vehicle. According to authorities, he stated that Adams pointed a gun at him before telling him to get out. Once Adams drove off, the victim immediately called 911.

Adams earns a good living from signing contracts with professional football teams, as well as winning various awards and accolades for his performance on the field.
