Will Vanessa Marcil Return to General Hospital in 2022?

There’s a lot of rumors swirling about who could be returning to General Hospital (GH) in 2022 and one of the biggest is the return of actress Vanessa Marcil as Brenda Barrett. It’s been a while since we’ve seen her and it would be nice to see her back on the show.

Actress Vanessa Marcil was cast on GH as Brenda Barrett in 1992 and she remained on the show until 1998. She left the soap and went on to have a successful career in the entertainment industry.

She has appeared in several television shows, including NBC’s To Love, Honor and Deceive, ABC’s High Incident and Hallmark’s Stranded In Paradise. She also had a recurring role on the soap Beverly Hills, 90210 and has been in several feature films.

According to a recent leak, Marcil may be making a big comeback to GH later this Summer. If she does, it will be a huge surprise to fans of the show as well as Sonny Corinthos and Nina Kirby!

Marcil was a huge fan of GH and loved the role. She said that she was always happy when she was on the show and has been in talks with GH for years about possibly coming back to the show.

However, if she does come back, it’s not clear if she will have her own character. Some GH spoilers suggest that she could cause trouble for Sonny and Nina while others say that she will just play a supporting role.

Some of the newest additions to Port Charles include Asante Jones as Marcus Taggert and Kate Orsini as Carly’s divorce lawyer, Rebecca Diamond. Both actors have been in scenes recently with Charles Shaughnessy’s Victor Cassadine as well and it looks like they’ll be around for some time.

Another actor who is making a return to the show this month is Max Decker. He was previously a recurring guest on GH as Johann. He’ll be seen in scenes with Shaughnessy’s Victor this week as well as a couple of other characters.

Aside from her GH appearances, Max is also known for playing John in the TV movie The Rock and has a long list of other roles. His upcoming roles include an episode of the TV series, The Bold and the Beautiful as well as a guest spot on the soap opera Days of our Lives!

It’s unclear what his role will be on GH in 2022 but we can expect him to appear in some of the drama going on in Port Charles. Hopefully, he will be able to make an impact on the show while his character is there!

On Instagram, a group of Sonny and Brenda fans asked Marcil a question about GH. She answered it in a video that was posted to her Instagram page. It was then published by GH spoilers which says that she’s looking forward to her return to the show and is “delighted” that they have “a great friendship.”

She also shared that she’s not letting her age get in her way. She says she’s still a lot younger than her role as Brenda Barrett but her life has changed and she feels that she’s grown as an actor. She’s also an avid supporter of domestic violence victims and is a champion of the bisexual community. She’s also a writer and is currently working on her own book.
